Ubuntu XFCE - with all the updates etc.

I open it - one second later - it crashes.

Not sure as to why it's crashing - perhaps I have too many tabs open with a few too many BIG-ish pasted in texts open...

Or the latest updates killed it....

BUT it does not stay open long enough to shut down even one open tab at a time...

AND there is no way that I know to edit the files via a back door to copy out the text within the tabs.

You know if there is a folder and files 1 to 35 can be opened individually in Kate etc.. and saved or edited or deleted as the case may be.....

Perhaps functionality can be restored, perhaps a full reinstallation, or maybe use Kate as a full time editor....

Dunno.

I like the program though.

Plain Text files make for excellent storage of data that can be opened on ANYTHING, such as shopping lists on the android phone etc...

YES!!!! Thank God for people who can WRITE great programs.

Go HOME / .config / Notepadqq / tabCache

AND there is a LIST of all the *.txt files - ready to open and work on in Kate, and then delete....

AND from that I can see if the program comes good as I have about 30 tabs open in it and a couple of books undergoing PDF to TXT conversions - after editing.
