We agree that points 2 and 3 would be valuable improvements, especially for clarity and day-to-day management of silencing rules, and we’re aligned on exploring those.

For point 1 (auto cleanup of inactive rules), we do have some concerns around edge cases and the risk of unintentionally removing rules that are still meaningful but infrequent. That said, it’s an interesting idea, and we’ll discuss it internally to better understand how we could implement, and prioritize accordingly.
