true heros know that WSL1 will always be better than wsl2, for virtualization we have QEMU already :D |

This is a follow up of the legendary #1 after 697572d, and a potential solution to #4022.
Any chance of
lxcore.sysgetting open-sourced in a future release? Being part of the Windows image should not be a hard blocker, should it, since other Windows core components have been released, such as the .NET Framework libraries.This is a great chance to breathe new life into WSL1, which has already had several community projects trying to reverse engineer components around this kernel driver, including LxDK or my own lxmonika.
