This would be helpful to only change the bundle file on a network share, once, to update the three instances of Lintalist I have running on my home PCs. Right now, I have to update all of their local bundle directories, one at a time. Thank you for your hard work! |

The So if edit them in the first instance, it might get saved to the bundle (if setup to do so), but the second instance won't know about it and overwrite any changes (or not read any updated snippets). When closing the second instance your edits from the first instance may be lost as well. So if you run it from a network share, be sure to only run one instance at the same time. |

Thank you for your response. I’m thinking I’ll write a script at startup to copy the bundle on the share and overwrite the local bundle file. It’s a work around that might work. Thanks! |

That should certainly work. Another alternative you could consider is try is "Creating a symbolic link to a directory or a file, or create a hard file link or directory junction."[1] That way Lintalist can be on various computers, but the bundles directory point to the same location on a shared network drive. (That doesn't resolve the problem of multiple version overwriting each others changes of course. [1] See MKLink https://ss64.com/nt/mklink.html (Symbolic links can span volumes and can use UNC paths) |

To confirm - I was working off an older version of lintalist, getting this error with fresh downloads on many different versions with unedited ahk files. |

I just download both 32 & 64 releases and in a clean download it works (w. AutoHotkey v1.1.32+ which is required) - so lintalist out of the box just works. So if the menubar gives an error, one of the menus isn't built correctly, most likely the file menu (e.g. the bundles, bundle menu) so the path isn't working correctly or you haven't updated all the occurrences of the path in Can't be more specific. Like I said, the symlink might be your best bet or place lintalist in its entirety on a network share. |

I think I got into a position where I couldn't open up the main window any more. All sorted out, I made an additional pointed and referenced the network drive and modified all pointers in front of any \bundles\ references. All is working well. Many thanks! |
