GitHub seems to have a bit of server trouble lately,
and when uploading the upload sometimes dies, which should give a time-out or something like that. But this situation is not detected by github-release, so the command just runs 'forever'. Adding some kind of time-out detection (explicit or implicit) would be very useful.
