This repository contains the files associated with the paper "DEMS to Manage the Chain of Custody in Policing" by Callum L Beer from the University of Brighton's School of Architecture, Technology & Engineering.
A Digital Evidence Management System (DEMS) is used for storing evidence which is collected from crime scene, via on scene acquisition. Many DEMS exist on the market, the purpose of this system is to securely store evidence with a way of checking evidence continuity through hashing.
