There are clearly some good things in this pr and updating the documentation is a good idea, but I do not think this is ready for merge.

The list of things in this document is too long and a lot of the information is just duplicated from elsewhere and will inevitably go out of sync. To help newcomers we really do not need more than a very rough overview, the ingame help and settings documentation already have complete lists.

Also while reading this the second time, I started to wonder who's spent more time on this. There are some things in here which I do not want to think you wrote, but assuming you didn't write the text doesn't feel any better.
