Actimod

Robot Software Marketplace for Control Policies, AI Models, and Automation Stacks

The Problem

Robotics has:

  • Hardware
  • Models
  • Talent

But it does not have a software distribution layer.

Today, robot control software is scattered across:

  • GitHub repositories
  • Research papers
  • Internal company stacks

There is no standard place to:

  • Discover robot policies
  • Compare capabilities
  • Deploy them easily
  • Buy or sell them

What Actimod Is

Actimod is a platform being created to solve this.

A marketplace for:

  • Robot control policies
  • AI models for robotics
  • Automation and control stacks

It is designed to make robotics software:

  • Discoverable
  • Usable
  • Transferable
  • Deployable

Why This Matters

The next wave of robot owners will not be experts.

They will not:

  • Train reinforcement learning models
  • Read GitHub repositories
  • Build full ROS pipelines

But they will still need their robots to work.

This creates the need for a new layer:

Simple, accessible, deployable robot software

What This Repo Is

This repository is not a codebase.

It exists to:

  • Define the idea of a robot software marketplace
  • Share the concept of a robotics distribution layer
  • Point to the platform being built
