StreamController supports different key events. Use the Event Assigner feature:

Available Key Events

• Key Down - Button pressed
• Key Up - Button released
• Key Short Up - Quick tap
• Key Hold Start - Long press begins
• Key Hold Stop - Long press ends

Configuration Steps

1. Add your action to a Stream Deck button
2. Open the action settings in the right sidebar
3. Look for Event Assigner options (if supported by the plugin)
4. Assign callbacks to specific events:
   • Set "Start Recording" to trigger on Key Down
   • Set "Stop Recording" to trigger on Key Up

Alternative: Use Two Actions

If Event Assigners aren't available:

1. Add two separate actions to the same button
2. Configure first action to respond to Key Down event only
3. Configure second action to respond to Key Up event only
