What's Changed

.NET versions updated

This version of VS Test upgraded .NET to net8 and net9. All projects targeting net6.0 (or other end-of-life .NET target frameworks) should pin their version of Microsoft.NET.Test.SDK to 17.13.0, or update the projects to net8 or newer. We remain backwards compatible with previous versions of Microsoft.NET.Test.SDK. This change does NOT prevent you from:

  • Updating to the latest VS, and running tests from net6.0 test projects.
  • Updating to the latest .NET SDK, and running tests from net6.0 test projects.

It also has no impact on .NET Framework projects, where we continue targeting .NET Framework 4.6.2.

- TemplateEngineService: fix capitalize/pluralize filters to return
  string.Empty instead of null for null/empty inputs
- TemplateEngineService: add camelCase filter for property name generation
- TemplateEngineService: improve pluralize filter to handle -ss, -sh,
  -ch, -x, -z suffixes (e.g., 'address' -> 'addresses') and consonant+y
  rule (e.g., 'entity' -> 'entities' but 'key' -> 'keys')
- CodeFormatterService: add StripStringLiteralsAndComments to prevent
  false positive brace/paren mismatches when code contains delimiters
  inside string literals or comments
- CodeFormatterService: log individual validation errors for easier
  debugging
…y-and-validation

Fix template filter null safety and improve syntax validation accuracy
Lines like '} else {' were getting decremented then incremented,
which worked accidentally but was fragile. Now explicitly handles
same-level transitions to keep indent stable.

Closes #31
- Add GitHub Actions build and test workflow
- Add bug report and feature request issue templates
- Add pull request template
- Add GitHub Sponsors funding configuration
- Improve .gitignore for better development experience
Add CI/CD pipeline and project configuration

- Update EntityAnalyzer regex to capture nullable type suffix (?)
  so properties like AddressRecord? are properly classified as
  IsNullable=true instead of being silently dropped.
- Strip trailing ? from Type in EntityAnalyzer before storing,
  ensuring GetClrTypeName() never produces double-? for nullable types.
- Guard against null/empty Type in EntityProperty.GetClrTypeName()
  to prevent NullReferenceException during code generation.
- Add #nullable enable directive to generated mapper code and use
  nullable return types (T?) so the output compiles cleanly under
  <Nullable>enable</Nullable> projects.

closes #19
Extend EntityProperty with MinValue and MaxValue decimal properties for
declaring numeric range constraints alongside the existing string-length
and regex rules.

ValidatorGeneratorService now emits:
- InclusiveBetween(min, max) when both bounds are set
- GreaterThanOrEqualTo(min) when only a lower bound is set
- LessThanOrEqualTo(max) when only an upper bound is set

The manual validator (ValidatorManual) receives matching if-checks for
the same range constraints, keeping both code paths consistent.

closes #20
ProcessConditionals now handles the optional {{#else}} branch inside
{{#if variable}}...{{#else}}...{{/if}} blocks. When the variable is
truthy the content before {{#else}} is rendered; when falsy the content
after {{#else}} is rendered. Blocks without {{#else}} continue to
work exactly as before.

ValidateTemplate is updated to verify that the number of {{#else}}
tags does not exceed the number of {{#if}} blocks, rather than
misreporting them as unknown tokens.

This removes the need to maintain a mirrored inverse variable
(e.g. NoPrimaryKey) just to provide an alternative branch.

closes #28
The namespace of generated repositories is now resolved via a dedicated
ResolveNamespace helper in RepositoryGeneratorService. When a
ToolkitOptions instance has DefaultNamespace set, that value is used as
the base namespace for all generated repository/interface files instead
of the entity's own source namespace.

AddSourceGeneratorToolkit now accepts an optional ToolkitOptions
parameter. When supplied, the options are registered as a singleton so
generator services can receive them through DI:

  services.AddSourceGeneratorToolkit(new ToolkitOptions
  {
      DefaultNamespace = "MyApp.Generated",
  });

The generated files will then be emitted under
MyApp.Generated.Repositories rather than the entity's source namespace.

docs/faq.md: add a dedicated Q&A section explaining namespace
configuration with three concrete options (config file, source
namespace, CLI flag).

OK, I won't notify you again about this release, but will get in touch when a new version is available. If you'd rather skip all updates until the next major or minor version, let me know by commenting @dependabot ignore this major version or @dependabot ignore this minor version. You can also ignore all major, minor, or patch releases for a dependency by adding an ignore condition with the desired update_types to your config file.

If you change your mind, just re-open this PR and I'll resolve any conflicts on it.
