This is an absolute size; can this cause a repeat of #129 for players with different-sized screens or different UI settings?

yea i thought the same but the screen size isn't changing for the ui scaling. i tested it from tiny to huge. Even on x64 ;)

Ok then, looks plausible.
I won't be able to playtest for another 3-4 hours, but it would be easier to do that with a merged develop branch. Merging.
