Originally I was going to call this ticket "Unintuitive quit", because I've not been able to work out how to exit Sqlit a few times now, and have had to resort to trying random key combos until I get the right one. It was only while writing this ticket that I noticed the "Commands" hint on the far right of the status line. It's literally the first time I'd noticed it, and I think it's sort of invisible standing on its own.

I'd like to suggest moving it to be with the other hints on the left. You might also want to alias : to space, just because most Unix users looking for a command mode will likely try that first.
