Backend engineer focused on building tools that stay out of your way. I mostly work in Go, with Python and shell scripting mixed in depending on the job.
- Go — primary language, most of my projects live here
- Python — scripting, quick automation, data wrangling
- Shell — glue code, CI pipelines, general sysadmin stuff
- Docker / Linux — daily drivers
Mostly CLI tools and internal DevOps utilities — things that automate the boring parts of a workflow without requiring a PhD to configure. If it needs a 40-page README to use, I've failed.
- Good error messages
- Programs that do one thing well
- Documentation that's honest about limitations
If something I've built is useful to you (or broken for you), feel free to open an issue or reach out.
