Penguin Mail was a feature in Club Penguin, introduced on July 15, 2008, as part of the Club Penguin Improvement Project, that allowed players to store received postcards; prior to the introduction of this feature, received postcards could not be kept, and would permanently disappear when closed. This also allowed the ability to send postcards to others even if they were offline, or receive postcards that acted like notifications, such as announcing parties, if one's puffles were hungry, or Paychecks of coins. Newer postcards were displayed first, and arrow buttons on either side of a postcard allowed for navigating between postcards.

Players with membership could store up to 99 postcards in Penguin Mail, while players without membership could only store up to 50. To receive more postcards, some needed to be deleted to make space. This could be done by clicking a "Remove All" button to remove all postcards from the same sender (for automatically received postcards, this applied to all of them, under the name "Club Penguin"), or clicking a "Recycle!" button ("TRASH!" prior to the Earth Day 2010 party) to remove an individual postcard.

Trivia[]

  • When Penguin Mail was launched, all players were given a postcard that contained a free Blue Mail Bag.
  • Since the release of Penguin Mail, all postcards had a seal on them signifying they were sent by Penguin Mail. Originally, postcards had a similar seal on them labeled "Club Penguin penguin post" with the current year.
